Aug. 22nd, 2007 @ 06:47 pm Football stuff I guess.
We got our game jerseys today, I got #60. But I wasnt really that excited like more other people to get their jerseys, because I watched one of my best friends leave the field in an ambulance. As we were waiting for the ambulance two other players, both coaches and I pre-prepped him by cutting the side of his pants to allow air to the back of his knee, seeing as he dislocated his knee cap. Seeing him laying there hurt me, but it releaved me knowing that as he was laying there he was joking about it. Coaches started practice back up but I stayed there, praying that he'd be ok. I stayed off the field for awhile to pull myself back together. Once I actually went in I was more agressive than I've ever been stopping most all the plays, which is a rarity for me.. I guess coach was right, when you play with emotion, you do big things. Our 1st game is in 9 days against Peabody. They're tough, they're fast and they play dirty, but if we practice like champions like we have been, we'll win.

Anyways, I guess thats enough for this entry.

Current Music: You're The Inspiration - Chicago
You know our love was meant to be
The kind of love that lasts forever
And I want you here with me
From tonight until the end of time

From the minute that I saw you, I knew that you were something special.
I knew that we'd come to be great friends if we tried.
But now great friends is an understatement.

You should know, everywhere I go
You're always on my mind, in my heart
In my soul

I cant go a waking minute without thinking about you.
No matter how hard I try, I just cant get my mind off of you.

You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration

You're the reason I'm alive.
You're the inspiration of a new day.
You're the reason I don't blow my brains out.

Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than I need you

Now that I've got you in my life,
I'm gonna try my hardest not to let you go.
I want you to be here for me to tell you that you're my world.

And i know, yes I know that it's plain to see
We're so in love when we're together
now i know that I need you here with me
From tonight until the end of time

I don't know what I'd do without you anymore,
I'd be lost in a dark abyss of nothingness.

You should know, everywhere I go
Always on my mind, in my heart in my soul

You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration

Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than I need you

You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration

When you love somebody (til the end of time)
When you love somebody (always on my mind)
When you love somebody

Stephanie, I Love You. I need you. We Can Last Forever.

Current Music: What I've Done - Linkin Park
In this farewell
There's no blood
There's no alibi
Cause I've drawn regret
From the truth
Of a thousand lies

So let mercy come
And wash away

What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done

Put to rest
What you thought of me
While I clean this slate
With the hands
Of uncertainty

So let mercy come
And wash away

What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done

For what I've done
I start again
And whatever pain may come
Today this ends
I'm forgiving what I've done

I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done

What I've done
Forgiving what I've done

... My song.

Last Saturday (Aug. 4), The Inman Teuton football team held its very first "Lift-A-Thon". Before-hand we went out in the community and got sponsors. The business (or person) could donate a flat amount or could give us a small amount per pound lifted (ex: 3 cents per pound).  Then On Saturday, we all met in the weight room and maxed out, which is where you keep adding weight until you can only lift it once. We did this for Bench Press, Parralel  Squats, and Power Cleans. For Squats, I maxed out at 280 pounds. Which seemed a lot heavier because going up I also had to carry my 230 pounds of body weight up with the bar and weight, so in a nutshell I squated 510 pounds. For bench presses I only got up to 140 pounds, and Power clean I got 85 pounds, which is kind of pathetic, but with my arm in the condition it is I cant really do the lift. After all was said and done, I raised $100, which is what coach wanted each of us to raise. The money will go towards new equipment and Polo shirts to wear to away games.

We start two-a-day football practice in 5 days, that however, is without pads. the first day of pads, is also the first day of school, which is in 8 days. For once, I'm looking forward to school. For future reference my schedule is as follows:

-------------
1st Hour: Algebra 1
2nd Hour: Advanced Woodworking
3rd Hour: Biology
4th Hour: English 1 (in the A+ Lab, because I didn't pass it last year)
4th Hour: General Art (once I'm done with A+ English I)
5th Hour: English 2
6th Hour: Choir
7th Hour: World History
-------------

Our first Football game is August 31st against Peabody, we play here. There's a chance I MIGHT start on varsity at Linebacker, but even I doubt that, I do think that I'll play quite a bit though.

But to play Football I have to keep my grades up, for if I don't keep up my grades I become ineligible, so I can't play. Which is why I must and will do a lot better in the classroom this year.

Well, I think thats about it for now.

So here I am, with nothing to do but chat online and listen to music, So I figured I'd come and post an entry, pretty much an extended biography of The Brick. I was born in Lyons, KS, USA on April second of '92, I was adopted April 6th. I was born with Celebral Palsy in my left arm, still have it, but getting treated for it.

Lets see, in '01(I think) I started up in the American Taekwondo Association, which really helped me out both with range of motion and rotation in my arm, but also in life, every testing cycle we'd study a different life skill, Which doing for 4 years really helped me out to be a more respectful and just overall better person. Before I left the ATA in 05' I was ready to test for my 2nd Degree Black Belt.

Most of who I am today is/was self taught. My parents didn't teach me a lot growing up, sure they taught me to say my please and thank you, but the more important stuff I taught myself, mostly learning the hard way.

Recently we had team Football camp. And practice starts on August 13th, I'm looking forward to this season, as we (during camp) had become a team. a real team, one that looked out for each other and put their trust in each other no matter the task. I believe that we're going to have a great season, win or lose. No matter which, every single team we play, will remember the night, that they played the Teutons.

Recently I met this beautiful girl named Kelsie, at Ponca Bible Camp. We were best friends for 3 weeks then for the last week (July 26-August 2) we dated. But she had cheated on me with her ex boyfriend. She was my world for a month.  I would have given anything to see her. But now that I look back on it. I could've done just fine without her. For I have other great friends.

Thats enough for now I guess.
